OMS Strategic Advisors, LLC was founded by Lisa and Lawrence F. Gardner in order to provide a strategic partnership for national clients. Lawrence has worked in the commercial real estate industry for 16 years, specializing in tenant representation, project leasing and real estate consulting. His client list has included Bank of America Plaza in downtown Dallas, Oncor Electric, TXU US Energy Trading Group and Cap Gemini North America. He has served a wide range of clients nationally and has participated in transactions totaling more than 10,000,000 sq ft.

Lawrence created and implemented the leasing, marketing, and positioning strategy from 2001-2007 as the head of agency leasing for Bank of America Plaza, the largest building in Dallas (1.8 million SF). During this period, he completed more than 1.2 million square feet of office leases including the 566,000-square-foot lease restructure for Bank of America, securing 31% of the building’s occupancy through 2024 and generating $180 million dollars of incremental rental revenue for the ownership. He also secured unprecedented economic concessions, signage and expansion/contraction rights while representing Oncor Electric Delivery’s Corporate Headquarters relocation of 500 employees, and TXU US Energy Trading Group’s relocation to Dallas, which involved 300 employees.

The Dallas Business Journal recognized these accomplishments by selecting the transactions as finalists for “Best Deal of the Year” in 2002 and 2000, respectively. Lawrence has also been named a “Heavy Hitter” by the Dallas Business Journal multiple times and was recognized in 2004 as the “Top Office Project Leasing Agent in the DFW Metroplex.”
Lawrence’s community involvement includes Baylor Specialty Health Centers Board of Trustees, The Dallas Assembly and The Salesmanship Club of Dallas. He has served on the boards of Cushman and Wakefield’s National Diversity Council, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, The Dallas Assembly, Leadership Dallas, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Central Dallas Association Downtown Improvement District.
Lawrence received his MBA degree from the University of Michigan and Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University.

Lawrence is also an active member of Oakcliff Bible Fellowship, where he serves in the couple’s ministry. He resides in Plano, Texas, with his wife and two children. 

 

Lisa A. GardnerLisa Gardner

Lisa Gardner is the co-founder of OMS Strategic Advisors, LLC.  Mrs. Gardner creates and helps to execute all strategic initiatives for the firm’s clients, while ensuring detailed operational excellence and service for all internal projects.  She also leads all consulting initiatives and strategy development for the company.  Mrs. Gardner began her sales and marketing career with Pepsi-Co in 1991, which led her through various leadership positions, allowing her to gain experience in meeting her client’s needs through various strategic platforms including marketing and business strategy, creating business development planning and execution, and brand strategy repositioning.  She also helped to set area operating plans including sales strategies for new and existing business.  Her 14 years of experience in the sales and marketing field have expanded her experiences to various industries including food, beverage, retail and most recently commercial real estate. 

Mrs. Gardner served in several capacities, while at Pepsi-Co.  She was the National Account Sales Manager for the Convenient, Drug and Dollar Store channels and a Business Development Manager with continued responsibility for the Dollar Store channels and development of new national business at Frito-Lay.  She was responsible for $40,000,000 worth of business.  The creation and execution of national marketing programs was imperative for success. The skill of creating alignment and synergy among cross-functional team members and executive leadership was essential to growth for the client and Frito-Lay.

In 1999, she was recruited by JCPenney’s  Chief Marketing Officer to help lead the new launch of the “Its All Inside” re-branding strategy. Within six months of joining JC Penney, Mrs. Gardner’s  thought leadership and strategic approach earned her the sole responsibility for leading and managing the $100 million dollar multi-cultural market/brand with a $10 million dollar budget for creative, brand and strategic initiative execution.  As the Manager of Multicultural Marketing she worked with BBDO, one of the largest general market agencies in the world, for pre-launch preparation, including internal/external communication efforts, while ensuring merchandise selection for TV, print and radio was aligned with overall strategic direction.  Most recently, she has been elected to serve as a board member on the Executive Board of SMU's Cox School of Business. 

Mrs. Gardner attended the University of Southern California where she attained a B.S. in Business Administration.  After the birth of her first child in 2002, August 2003 she entered into one of the top five EMBA programs in the country at Southern Methodist University (SMU), the Cox School of Business. She graduated from the program May 2005 with a Master of Business Administration and a G.P.A. of 3.69. 

She is also an active member of Oakcliff Bible Fellowship, where she serves as a table leader and facilitator for women’s ministry, Life on Life, and as a facilitator for marriage ministry with her husband Lawrence.
